EMBRACING DIGITAL HEALTH

I started exploring that ecosystem since late in 2008 when SAEfetyWorks(TM)
appeared on my radar alongside the Observational Medicines Outcome Partnership's work.
That led me to do a piece of research while in GSK on the use of Observational databases for Pharmacovigilance signal-generation.
After collaborations as an adviser for a couple of start-ups around 2012, I joined the Health 2.0 London Chapter in 2013 which then was at grass-root level and followed the movement since.
I have since regularly attended Health-tech conferences and connected with Start-ups in the general health and healthcare space and experimented with various tools, apps, VR kits etc.
My lead interests are:
- Convergent and mHealth,
- Modelling / AI,
- Data-ownership,
- Systems integration
- User experience
- Participative-safety
- Patient empowerment.

The challenge...
